The plug works as you'd expect, it's great when I had a few donuts too many and don't feel like standing to turn off my floor lamp. My phone is always next to me, so I can switch everything on and off with a single tap. The app also offers a few other handy features such as a timer to turn the connected device on and off at certain times (handy for lamps) and a countdown that acts kind of like the sleep mode on a TV.

It has worked each and every time! I love the fact that I can ask Siri to turn on/off any appliance I connect to this smart plug. Using this thing is pretty intuitive, you don't need much experience with gadgets to have this up and running. If you have the latest ios update you will also see the devices you have plugged in inside the "favorite accessories" window on your iphone. Simply swipe up from the home screen, then swipe right and you will see this shortcut. The KoogeekHome app has been great too, you're able to set "moods" and all kinds of custom rules. I believe you can also pair it up with Alexa but I haven't tried that feature, for now I'm just enjoying the integration with Apple Home.

I have become a fan of koogeek smart gadget. It has a high quality build. Software is easy to use. I can use it to monitor the power usage. My home is smarter now with these smart plugs. The connection is solid and it never gives me problem. It has a button on top of it that you can physically press it to turn it on and off. Recommend it.

I have had only had one other Smart Plug from a different company and this Koogeek Smart Plug is so much cleaner than the other device I have had and the setup process was incredibly simple. I setup the device using Apple HomeKit before I ever even opened the Koogeek app. When I opened the Koogeek app, it already knew that the device has been activated and setup, so I didn't need to do anything in the Koogeek app. POSITIVES: - Koogeek app is very easy to use - Homekit setup process was so simple, just typed in the number and it was done - When setup with Homekit using the Apple TV 4 or iPad, the device can be controlled when your phone isn't even on Wifi or in same location - Works to control device via Siri - Can setup timers and scenes for device to turn on at certain point throughout day - See how much energy device is using in Koogeek app - Easy accessible power button on top of device - LED light in Koogeek logo to display when device is on and off CONS: - Only con I found was that when plugged in it covers the 3rd pin port on other plug in because of the size of the device

This smart plug fits in any standard 110 V outlet. It works with iOS and homekit. The app allows you to control it from anywhere you have a connection. Theres the ability to schedule that allows you to set your own pattern. In addtion to that it allows you to see how much electricity is used. the only issue I had is that this only works with iOS devices and works with only 2.4 Ghz wifi

I got this smart plug because I wanted to continue building my smart automated home. Apple Homekit is still growing and products are becoming more available. I have an iPad pro that I mount to my wall whenever it is not being used for drawing. Installing this plug is very simple. First, you load up the Home app from your idevice. Plug the Koogeek smart plug on the wall and it should automatically detect it on your device. After selecting, it will ask you to locate the code next to the plug to scan. Scan it and everything is done. From there you can turn off the plug and turn it back on. I have it in my bedroom and use it mostly for my lamp and Phone charger. You can also use Siri by saying "turn on Koogeek Smart Plug". It works really well! So far, no connectivity issues that I know off. I seriously love this. It makes me feel like I'm living in the future Tony Stark house. I've read that if you have an Apple TV 4, you can use that as a Hub and leave the house and control your smart device from anywhere. That is cool and a project I hope to do another time. You will love this smart plug! Seriously, it works amazing. Keep in mind, this one is three prongs and the information is enclosed on my photos. Take a lot at it for compatibility.

Really easy to use and set up. I had to reset my plug but if you do it according to the instructions it will not take long. Check out my video to see how responsive it is with the app. The device itself is slick light weight and does not block the other plug depening on your outlet. So keep that in mind. The app that runs the plug is easy to set up and seems pretty intuitive. Honestly I wish I had the need for more just so I could set them up all over the house. The majority of my time controlling it with my phone I have used the koogeek app. I do recommend this one!

I have WeMo plugs installed and they tend to be temperamental at times and the setup for those are not always seamless. When I got this one I was excited bc it works with Siri and my HomeKit! The instruction were easy to follow and took less than a minute to install. I did notice a misspellings in the app "feed back" which obviously doesn't affect the functionality of the item, but probably should be fixed. I need to play with it more bc I also didn't see a way to edit the "name" of the plug I assigned after installing it? Maybe I missed that. If I figure that out I'll report back. Overall I like this plug BETTER than my wemo plugs and am looking forward to adding more koogeek items to my home system.

I am extremely happy with this little gadget. Since my Iphone came with IHome installed, all I had to do was plug in the device, plug in my essential oil diffuser with the switch turned on and then controlled it with my phone. How cool is that? The best part is that it works from two houses down from mine, so if I forget and leave my diffuser on, and get in the car to go somewhere, I can easily turn it off remotely. I just love this thing. It looks nice and blends with my white wall. I had no idea it could be this easy. I recommend it to anyone who would like to be able to remotely control electrical things in their home. It does not cover the whole plug plate either as long as I plug it into the bottom outlet. It makes me want to get a whole bunch of these. I actually was not that interested in this kind of thing, but now I am a convert.... Recommend highly!!! If this review is helpful to you, please click yes.

Review of Koogeek Smart Plug, WiFi, for Apple HomeKit with Siri, Electronics Controller on 2.4Ghz Network The Koogeek Smart plug sets up in about 5 minutes. Just plug in the smart plug into standard AC outlet that you would like to operate on and off. Download the Koogeek app called Home from the app store and register if you do not already have an account. Once the app is installed, allow it to work with the Apple Home Kit. When you plug in the smart plug into an outlet it will flash green. Open home kit and add device. You can scan the QC code that is with the instructions booklet and once it completes the add you will see an app icon with the smart plug device. You are now ready to plug something in the smart plug and turn it off and on via the home kit app. By touching the app you toggle the on and off which switches the smart plug on and off. In our case we used the MacBook Pro charging cord to turn on and off. It works great to be able to control a switch from the bed or lazy chair.

I’ve been using wifi outlets since last few years but this is first time I’ve used an outlet which has integration with Apple home kit. Now I can command Siri to turn environment for living room on and off remotely. You will need to install an free application “Koogeek” in order it to be detected by Happy Home Kit. You can also create scenes if you have multiple of these products. Setup is quiet easy. It just works out of the box. I was able to set this up in two minutes without even reading the instruction booklet. Personally, I am using it with my glass closet and a lamp in my living room. Best part I like about this I can command Siri to turn it on/off for me. The outlet is not bulky like other available in market and seems like made with quality material. It is light weight and easy to install. You can easily control, monitor and even schedule devices within the range of home wifi network. It also has a manual button on outlet itself in case network is not available or not working. Positives: - Neat and Easy Setup - Works flawless - Accepts Siri Commands - Works with Apple Home Kit - Small Size & not bulky - Comes with 18 month warranty - Made with quality material. Negatives: - None I could see so far Improvement needed - Works only with 2.5Ghz wifi network, 5.0Ghz is not supported Although 5.0Ghz wifi speed is not supported by this outlet, but most modems support multiple speeds and provides you capability to generate two different home networks with different ranges. I highly recommend buying this if you are looking for one.

This is a great quality smart plug. Worth to be mentioned that this gadget has an input voltage of only 120 volts and a standard US plug. Device was neatly packed in a small, white, beautiful box. Smart plug assembled very well and tightly. During operation it glows nice. The software application for iOS is good, from with it you can control the gadget ànd its features. This is possible only through the local Wi-Fi network. Turning the power on and off occurs reliably and with a specific click. In general, the gadget is good and it works, it does its main job well.

Easy setup via the Home app - working flawlessly! One minor complain the plugs are big and might be an issue fitting in tight places.

This lil plug is super great. There is no complicated instructions, download app, connect to WiFi and done. It comes in handy when trying to scare someone. I like the button that can be used to turn on or off whatever you have plugged in, in case you have no access to your phone.

Koogeek has done an incredible job with the smart plug switch. This makes turning off any number of appliances remotely very simple. If you have an Apple TV 3 or more recent, then you can control the plug remotely through the sharing feature on Home Kit. Otherwise, you can manage all of your Koogeek Smart Plugs on your local area network. Theoretically, you can use a multi-plug with this and turn off several devices connected into it, although you'd have two dongles pulling from your primary outlet which may not be something you want to do. But there are a lot of really good use cases for the smart plug: 1) If your children have TVs in their room, you can turn it off remotely 2) If you want to turn off appliances like lamps/fans/humidifiers/ etc 3) Fool potential burglars by turning on a light remotely 4) Remotely charge batteries/mobile devices 5) Turn on electric warmer before going into a cold room The Koogeek app is easy to use and can be controlled by Siri. You can set schedules to turn things on and off (which would be great for things like warming up a hair iron or coffee machine), and best of all, you can even show energy costs! I absolutely love this and will be getting several more soon!

Awesome device for turning your home or office into a voice controlled hands free environment. I'm pretty big into automation as my entire home/office is setup with hue lights, chromecast and just about any automated device you can think of. However there are some devices that can't be controlled via IR or wifi..like my audio monitors for example. So the only way that I can get them to automate is to use a smart plug and this things does the job. A cool thing that this device does that others don't is..it monitors your energy consumption. This is a must have.

Super easy to set up and so far it works without problems. I read the reviews and figured I'd give it a try. Return it if I don't like it. So far, no issues. The plug comes with a 2 page manual, so there's not too much set-up going on. Downloaded the Koogeek app, entered the serial number on the plug and the app set up the wireless connection to my internet router. So far, I have no issues with this thing. It turns on and off...

Koogeek Smart Plug works flawlessly with a quick setup! This little plug has been a huge help in our home! My husband and I both work from home and our offices are in the basement. We have several computers set up with many electronics going at the same time. Recently, one of our teenage daughters has been sneaking into our offices to get online and chat with boys. We have resorted to shutting the internet down every night to prevent this but at times we do forget. With the help of this little plug, along with Siri, even if we do forget, we simply ask Siri to turn it off. With a home of over 6,000 square feet and three levels, this has come in handy a few times already. Especially when it is late and we are too exhausted to walk to the basement to turn it off. Set up couldn't have been easier. I had this up and working in under two minutes. The longest amount of time was reading the instructions that were included but not a complete necessity. I made sure my phone was connected to the correct network (a 2.4ghz) and the same one I would be using for the plug, waited for the plug to flash its lights, and opened the Koogeek Home app that I had downloaded and it instantly saw the plug. That was it! We plugged it into the outlet and then plugged our modem into this plug. I tested it while standing there the first time and it worked perfectly. You can choose to use the Koogeek Home app to turn it off or you can just ask Siri to do it. Either way worked flawlessly for us. With the Koogeek app, you can even set up different scenes which allow you to set up multiple products to be commanded using one scene. Or you can create a schedule for it to run at certain times. It also monitors your energy consumption which is a nice addition if you have ever wondered which electronic is using the most energy. This is also compatible with the Apple HomeKit so you have several choices to manage this device. I am more than happy with this plug and plan to purchase several more to use around our home! I cannot recommend it enough!
